Wingspan Red is Talon Winery’s flagship red wine. It is technically defined as a Bordeaux-style red blend, designed to capture the complexity and balance afforded by the diverse grape varieties grown in Colorado’s wine country.
Composition and Blend Profile
Wingspan Red is made using a selection of the winery’s finest barrels. Technically, it uses a base of Cabernet Sauvignon for structure and tannins, Merlot for smoothness and body, and a smaller proportion of Cabernet Franc to add herbal notes and aromatic complexity.
